AFA recently attended the Annual Oxley Insurance Brokers Cricket Match in Port Macquarie. Two teams made up of Underwriters took on two teams from Oxley in a spirited afternoon of cricket with the Oxley "A" team triumphing at the close of play.
A great afternoon was had by all whether watching a classic catch, a big six hit into the cow paddock or simply having a few quiet beers in the outfield after a fantastic BBQ lunch.
Oxley hosted a dinner later that night at Oyster World after a short boat trip up the scenic river. AFA's MD David Porter purchased a signed NSW Cricket Bat during the nights auction with all proceeds towards Oxley's Relay for Life challenge.
Watch out Oxley "A" team... the Underwriters are out for revenge in 2007!!!
