AFA Rocks 2005 NIBA Convention on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast once again hosted the annual NIBA conference and this year we were privileged to be using the brand new Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, with events also being held at Conrad Jupiters. A number of AFA representatives, including David Porter, Ross Porter, Tony Royle, Alex Wagner, Amy Wilson, Rachel Dunne, David Fogarty headed north to meet with our brokers and soak up the NIBA atmosphere.
NIBA 2005 boasted show business legend Frankie J Holden as Moderator, with speakers including Ron Clarke, Mayor of Gold Coast City, Industry Speakers also included Terry McMullan, Editor of Insurance & Risk Professional and Robert Kelly, Chairman of the Steadfast Group.
AFA organised to take a break from all the NIBA festivities when conference sessions finished early on the Monday, by getting 'Swept Away' taking in all the sun, surf and sand the Gold Coast has to offer. Brokers joined us for an afternoon of Speedboating, Parasailing and Jet Skiing, before enjoying a twilight dinner on the decks of the famous Fisherman's Wharf Tavern at Mariner Cove.
