| | AFA recently attended the annual conventions of CQIB (Gold Coast), IBNA (Hamilton Island) & NIBA/UAC (Sydney).
Over the Queensland May long weekend AFA exhibited at the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers (CQIB) annual convention on the Gold Coast.
The Gold Coast International Hotel was a superb venue to host a record number of exhibitors and attending brokers. AFA would like to thank all our brokers who paid us a visit at the booth or simply enjoyed a drink with us at one of the 3 fantastic night functions.
AFA also supported the Insurance Brokers Network Australia (IBNA) annual convention on Hamilton Island.
Whether listening to motivational speakers Duncan Armstrong & Michael Milton, fishing on the Great Barrier Reef, relaxing by the pool bar or participating in the Buggy Rally around the island, it must be said everyone throughly enjoyed themselves.
NIBA and UAC (Underwriting Agencies Council) recently held their annual Sydney Business Expo at Stadium Australia, Homebush.
A fantastic venue for 38 Underwriting Agencies to showcase their businesses in front of over a 100 brokers from all over Sydney.
Wallaby legend Phil Kearns was the guest speaker at the lunch and Phil's stories recalling his playing days at the famous stadium had everyone on the edge of their seats.
We look forward to the next NIBA/UAC Business Expo in Melbourne on the 25th August 2006.
